Drawing is too much fun, Don't You?

I think I am getting a hand on this Wacom thing... I'm learning to layer and this week Whitney Clayton, who seems to be a tireless advocate for the Wacom, taught me to texture.... hurrah texture.... here is the product of my sunday afternoon.... I think im in love..... I think at some point Whitney and I should have a Wac-off party, anyone who wacs is invited....!!
So here are Dora the explorer and some texture filled woman.... ah texture!

Face full of Fashion

A self-portrait for my drawing class. Again, graphite, gouache and this time on regular stone henge. The expression on my face was borrowed from the world of Fashion. The classical 'pout.' To achieve such a look, I tried the Olson Twins famous pout word, "Prune." I like to elongate the first vowel by pronouncing it, PROOOOOONE. It gives the pout more drama, and fuller looking lips. Go ahead, try it! Cheers.
